Human Paradise · Letting-Go Buddha

At 6:24 in the morning of 14 October 2024, at the Pa Pae Meditation Centre in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the artist Lao Mu created for the world a new Buddha — "Letting-Go Buddha".

This Buddha did not emerge from an ancient site, nor was it transmitted from any scripture. It is a conceptual Buddha created by the artist through long meditative contemplation, based on his deep observation of humanity's inner "Five Poisons".
