Funding

Residents receive a private studio and living space in the center of La Plata, Argentina, for 1 to 3 months. Each residency is fully personalized — we work with each artist individually to make the most of their time here. What's included: Private bedroom and working space in a shared house Access to La Plata's vibrant art scene — exhibitions, events, studios and a wide network of local artists and cultural organizations An official invitation letter issued the same day it's needed (useful for public mobility grant applications) Direct support from the residency directors throughout the stay Connection to our network of over 20 years of international residents, artists and collaborators The residency has a fixed fee. Artists based in Latin America can apply for public mobility funds in their country (such as FONCA, Funarte, FONDART, Becas de Circulación or Fondos Concursables) to help finance their stay — we respond to all applications within 24-48 hours to support grant timelines.

Eligibility

Open to artists, writers, curators and creative researchers of all nationalities. No age restrictions, though our residency tends to attract artists between 21 and 45. All disciplines and mediums welcome — visual arts, writing, performance, photography, curation, research and interdisciplinary practices. No specific level of expertise required; we welcome both emerging and established artists.
